Terms of Service
Effective date: July 14, 2026
markdown-den ("the Service") is a collaborative markdown editor operated by Diego Guridi, an individual based in San Francisco, California, USA ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must provide accurate information and be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
Your content
You keep ownership of the documents, files, and other content you create or upload. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to it. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, display, and transmit your content so the Service can operate — including showing it to collaborators and to anyone you deliberately grant access, such as through a public share link.
Public sharing
The Service lets you make an individual file public. When you create a public link, anyone with the link can read that file without signing in. You are responsible for anything you choose to publish, and you can revoke a public link at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to create, store, publish, or share content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, harassing, hateful, violent, sexually exploitative, or otherwise offensive or abusive; and not to abuse, disrupt, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its infrastructure, or other users' data. You are responsible for any AI agents you connect and for their actions performed with your keys.
Content moderation and enforcement
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice, remove or disable content, revoke or disable public share links, and suspend or terminate accounts that we believe violate these Terms or that are illegal, harmful, offensive, or abusive. Where reasonable we will aim to notify the affected account, but we may act immediately to protect users, the public, or the Service.
AI agents
You may connect AI agents to workspaces you control. Agents act under a key you issue and only within the workspaces you invite them to. You are responsible for the agents you connect and can revoke their access at any time.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how deletion works). We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends.
Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content will be preserved without loss. You are responsible for keeping your own backups (for example, using the built-in workspace export).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is currently offered free of charge, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it, if any.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the courts located in California.
